 Buenas Tardes familias, 

We have some exciting things happening at our school! Our beautiful mural project is now nearing completion. This incredible initiative was made possible through the fundraising efforts of our Parent Society and the generous support of our families. Over 500 students have had the opportunity to paint a section of the mural, making it a true community artwork. 

We are also excited to be starting our Lacrosse residency this month. This program was extremely popular with students last year, and we know our kids are excited to participate again and build their skills. Finally, our Grade 5 and 6 students will soon be visiting the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory. This is the first time our school will be taking part in this experience, and it will be a fantastic opportunity for students to explore astronomy and science in a hands-on environment. 

Thank you once again for supporting our school community by participating in the many fundraising activities organized by our Parent Society and School Council. 

Don’t miss our meeting on March 11, 2026, at 6:30 pm. During this meeting, the administration will be asking our families to share their perspectives on our school development plan, our school budget, and fees.

Parent Society Fundraisers

Our Rocky Mountain Soap Company fundraiser has now closed, and we’re excited to share that we raised $1,643 toward our $2,500 goal to repaint the lines on our school grounds and create fun, active spaces for our students. Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative! Orders will be available for pickup at the school on March 17 from 3:00–5:30 PM.

Now it’s time for Purdy’s Chocolatier to help us cross the finish line! If you’re planning to stock up on delicious chocolates or gifts, please consider supporting our fundraiser by referencing campaign number 000022343 when ordering.

Orders close on March 17, with pickup at the school on March 31 from 3:00–5:30 PM.

Alberta Education 2025-2026

Please be aware that the Alberta Education and Childcare Assurance (AECA) survey has been extended to Friday, March 13. 

Participation is voluntary and anonymous, including each question within the survey. The survey gathers valuable feedback about school experiences and helps guide continuous improvement in our education system. All grade 4 families should have received a Random Access Code from the CBE.
