Kindergarten Staggered Entry

Staggered entry means that only half of the students will attend school for a short period on each of their first two days of school. This approach allows students to become familiar with classroom routines, rules, and the overall flow of the day. It also provides a chance to begin forming friendships in a smaller, more manageable setting.

Placement Requests

We do not accept parent requests for specific teachers or peer placements for any grade level. We kindly ask that you refrain from making these requests to teachers or school administrators. Our class lists process was done with great care and consideration to best meet our students' social and learning needs.

If there is information about your child that you believe we may not be aware of, or if circumstances have changed in a way that could impact their success next year, please submit this in writing to Principal Sebastien Fournier. Any information you share will be kept confidential.

If your plans have changed and your child will no longer attend Dalhousie, please notify the office as soon as possible. Please call the Office (403-777-6030, ext. 1) or email dalhousie@cbe.ab.ca.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to the Main Office starting Monday, August 25, 2025. We look forward to seeing everyone in person!

Get ready to embark on an exciting journey as we kick off the first day of classes with enthusiasm and anticipation.
