Yearbook Cover Contest
We are very excited to announce the winners of this year’s Yearbook Cover Contest! After careful consideration by our committee, one design has been selected as our front cover. The winner is Leila P. from Sr. Flores’ Grade 6 class. And for the back cover, we would like to congratulate Kaliyah P. from Srta. Alvarado’s Grade 6 class. We received 80 student submissions for this year’s contest. The creativity and effort were truly outstanding, which made the decisions even more difficult. We have also retained 12 additional drawings, which will be included in the yearbook. Once again, congratulations to all participants on behalf of all students and Dalhousie staff.
Fundraising makes a difference!
On behalf of our staff and students, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all our parents and families for your ongoing support for fundraising initiatives at Dalhousie School. Your generosity, time, and dedication make a meaningful difference in the experiences we can provide for our students.
Because of your continued support, we can enrich student learning through more field trips, in-school residencies, gym equipment, musical instruments, and other resources that would not otherwise be possible. Your contributions truly have made an impact on our students’ learning environment and the overall school experience at Dalhousie.
The School Council and Parent Society wanted to share with our families where all fundraising money has been allocated so far since September 2025. Here is a list of the major purchases and expenses paid by our Parent Society to support our school and students. This totals over $75,000 so far this year!!

Stay tuned because we still have more great fundraisers coming up, and many other amazing projects to support our students at Dalhousie. ¡Mil Gracias!
Sweeten the Finish Line with Purdys!
We’re in the final stretch of our Purdys fundraiser! If you’re planning to stock up on delicious chocolates or pick up some sweet gifts, we’d love your support.
