Information about community programs and local supports - 8-1-1 – Alberta Health Services (Health Link)
Medical advice from a registered nurse - 9-8-8 – Suicide Crisis Help Line
Immediate mental health and crisis support - 403-266-HELP – Calgary Distress Centre
Confidential emotional support and crisis intervention
These services are available at all times to support you and your family whenever needed.
Late for School
We would like to bring an important school routine to your attention. Recently, we have noticed an increase in the number of students arriving late to school after 9:15 AM.
Please be reminded that by 9:15 AM, students are expected to be in their classrooms and engaged in learning. Late arrivals:
- Disrupt classroom instruction
- Increase workload for office staff related to attendance tracking
- Cause students to miss important learning opportunities
Arriving on time helps set a positive tone for the school day. We greatly appreciate your support in ensuring students arrive on time and ready to learn. Thank you for your understanding.
Mural Project Update
We are excited to share that our long-anticipated school mural project, located near the gym entrance and music room, will be completed during the first week of March.
This project has been nearly a year in the making and was shaped by student ideas and vision, followed by review and voting by both staff and students.
We are working with The Bear & Unicorn Creative Company, a Calgary-based mural and creative art studio known for vibrant and engaging murals that celebrate identity and enrich learning environments.
This project has been made possible through the dedicated fundraising efforts of our school community and Parent Society. We look forward to seeing it come to life.
