Dear Staff, Parents/Guardians and Students,

This letter is to inform you of an upcoming staff change for Dalhousie School. Ms. Lusignan will be joining the staff as new principal at Fish Creek School.

The search for Ms. Lusignan’s replacement will commence immediately. I anticipate the new principal will be announced before the end of the school year. In the interim, Mr. Sebastien Fournier, acting principal, will be assuming the role of principal. Mr. Fournier and I will be working closely with the incoming principal to ensure a seamless transition.

In order to inform the selection of a new principal at Dalhousie School, Area 2 Education Director, Martine Sawatzky, would be pleased to receive input from staff, parents and students of Dalhousie School regarding the programming and leadership attributes you value. The survey will be open from June 4 to June 18, 2024.

Education Director Martine Sawatzky will be interviewing candidates along with other Directors and will make a recommendation to the Chief Superintendent regarding a candidate. Your input is shared directly with the successful candidate.
