Buenas Tardes Dalhousie Familias
We hope you all had a great fall break! This was a quick two days back at Dalhousie, and our classrooms were full of energy and lots of learning was happening during my visits. Among many fun math lessons, fine arts activities, and social studies projects, our teachers and students engaged in celebrating Métis people's history, culture, and art for Métis Week.
Next week is Bullying Awareness Week. At the CBE, Bullying Awareness Week is a dedicated time to raise awareness about bullying in all its forms and highlight its impact within our schools. This year, our goal is to empower students, teachers, and parents to take a stand against bullying and recognize when and how to seek help if needed. If you think your child is experiencing bullying at school, the best place to start is to discuss your concerns with your child’s teacher.
Finally, many thanks to all families for their donations to the Veteran Food Bank.
Have a great weekend!

Our grade 5 students have been invited to tour Senator Patrick Burns (SPB) School on Tuesday, November 26. The bus will depart at 9:15 a.m. and return by 11:30 a.m. This visit is the first of two planned visits to SPB for our students. The next visit will be towards the end of May 2025.
Each year, our grade 5 students, along with their teachers, have the opportunity to tour their future Spanish Bilingual school, where they will attend from grades 6 through 9. It’s an opportunity to see the school before attending Senator Patrick Burns’ Open House on February 14, 2025.
