Happy 2025 and Welcome Back! We hope you all had a relaxing and joyful holiday break. It’s been wonderful to see everyone back at Dalhousie this week!

A heartfelt thank you to all our families, teachers, students, and volunteers who participated in last night’s Annual Open House. Once again, the event was a huge success, with over 100 families in attendance! This is always a very important event for our community, and everyone`s contribution and time is much appreciated. A special shout-out to our Grade 5 and alumni volunteers who took time to guide new families around our school—it was truly appreciated by everyone.

Spanish For Parents - Level 1

Learning Spanish can be both easy and fun. This beginning level course will help parents of bilingual Spanish students learn or refresh their Spanish language skills. Chinook Learning Services offers courses specifically designed for parents and caregivers of CBE Spanish Bilingual students. This eight-week course will help parents of bilingual students learn or refresh their Spanish language skills, build their network of bilingual parents, and support their children’s learning at home.

The course will be offered at Dalhousie School from January 28 to March 18, 2025. Visit Chinook Learning for more information.

In-School Dance Residency Program

Our Dalhousie students will have in-school Dance Residency Program through DancePl3y, the week on January 20-24, during their gym classes for ALL students. For this experience, each student will participate in a series of dance lessons that focus on physical literacy through dance and are designed to meet the goal of the Alberta Physical Education Curriculum.

Please note this program is in-class only and does not have a performance component. The cost for the activity is $7 per student. Please pay online through your MyCBE Account
