Upcoming Events and Important Dates

Queridas familias, 

This is a friendly reminder to please take a moment to complete two important items. The Dalhousie Parent Society Survey (2025–2026) is open until this Friday. This survey provides families with the chance to share ideas on how parent-raised funds can best support our students, staff, and school community. Remember to complete the Intent to Return to Dalhousie Form for the 2026–2027 school year by January 30, 2026.

Black History Month

Throughout February, Dalhousie students and staff come together to recognize and explore the many contributions of Black Canadians, communities, and global Black leaders. Black History Month offers an important opportunity to highlight the innovative, courageous, and inspiring stories, voices, and achievements that have shaped our society. Through this learning, we aim to foster meaningful reflection, and a deeper understanding of the vital role Black Canadians play in the past, present, and future of our country.

Valentine’s Day – February 11

For Valentine’s Day, each class will create their own craft to share with a pre-selected class in keeping with the theme of kindness and inclusion. If students wish to bring their own Valentine cards for their classmates, teachers will provide time during the day for the exchange. Please remember not to send chocolate or candies due to allergies. If you have specific questions, please contact your student’s teacher directly.
