Buenas Tardes Dalhousie Familias,

We had a great week of learning and students enjoyed the weather courtesy of the Chinook. Students participated in the art challenge and had fun letting their creativity flow. We hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy the warm weather this weekend!

Parking Zone on Dallyn Street

Please do not leave your vehicle unattended in the Drop-Off Hug-and-Go zone. We need all the space around our school to park all 6 buses. Calgary Parking Authority will be patrolling again next week. Also, please do not cross the street and walk between the parked buses. Dallyn Street gets congested and for the safety of our students and families, we hope for your collaboration in respecting these expectations.

Changes to pick up at the end of the day

If you decide to pick up your child/ren who normally takes the bus, please write a note for them and be waiting for them at their bus prior to 3:50 PM. If you are not there on time (buses leave at 4:00 PM sharp!) students will be sent home on their regular bus. The school is unable to orchestrate play dates, extra-curricular activities, or group work involving busing changes.

If there are any last-minute changes to your normal pick-up routines and you need to contact the office, please do so before 2:30 PM. The end-of-day last-minute changes can cause security problems, and we want to ensure the safety of all our students.

Fees for Field Trips and Lunchroom Supervision

Fees are now available and can be paid on MyCBE. All school-based fees will be populated in this portal as events happen. 

Life Touch

We have Fall Retakes available for online booking in the Calgary studio. Please share with families who would like the opportunity to retake an image and were not able to do so at your school.

Veterans Food Bank

We are still collecting for the Veterans Food bank.  Please drop off all donations by end of day on December 17.  We thank you for your support and generosity thus far.
