Buenas Tardes Families! 

It is hard to believe that we are down to our final week of the school year! This week, we celebrated our Grade 6 students at their Farewell Celebration. It was wonderful to see so many families come together to recognize this important milestone. 

A big thank you to our Grade 6 Farewell Committee and our Parent Society for their incredible support in making the evening such a memorable event. We would also like to recognize our Grade 5 students for helping set up the gym and prepare for the celebration. 

As a special farewell gift, our Grade 6 students took part in an exciting Escape Room experience at school. Working in teams, students solved puzzles, cracked clues, and put their problem-solving skills to the test as they raced to stop a Runaway Train or find their way back from another Dimension. It was lots of fun! 

Congratulations as well to our talented Grade 5 students for their amazing theatrical performances on Friday. Our students impressed the audience with their confidence, creativity, and Spanish language skills. 

As we head into our final week, we look forward to Sports Day and the many celebrations that mark the end of another successful school year. We are also excited for the return of one of Dalhousie’s favourite traditions—the Teachers vs. Grade 5 soccer game!

Parent Society

A sincere thank you to our Parent Society for their generous support in covering the full cost of the inline skating residency for every Dalhousie student. Thanks to their contribution, families saved more than $25 per student while ensuring all children could participate in this fun activity. Opportunities like this are made possible through the dedication of our Parent Society volunteers and the ongoing fundraising support of our school community. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do to enrich the educational experiences of our students. 

As a reminder

• Final Fun Lunch of the school year will take place on June 24 from 11:10 AM to 12:50 PM
• Jelly Modern Doughnuts will be delivered on June 26 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM.

Dalhousie Sports Day

We are excited to announce that our annual Sports Day is coming up soon! This is always a fun-filled day. To help make the day a success, we are looking for parent and guardian volunteers to assist with running activity stations throughout the day. The station and instructions will be provided to you on Sports Day. Thank you for helping make Sports Day a memorable event for our students. We greatly appreciate your time and support and look forward to celebrating this exciting day together!
