As a staff we have reviewed the recent changes we have made to our noon supervision processes, and we agree that one further adjustment is in order.  We will have Grade 1 – 5 students eat first, from 12:30 to 12:54 p.m., and go outside to play after, from 12:54 to 1:17 p.m.  Kindergarten will do the opposite, i.e. play first and eat after.  Teachers will adjust snack time in the morning so that students do not get hungry before they eat at lunch time.  

Grade 1 - 5 students will enter the school at the end of lunch to begin the afternoon following similar procedures to the morning entry routine.  As a result, the transition from outside play time to learning time will be the same in both morning and afternoon.
