Buenas Tardes Dalhousie Familias!
Our landscaping project is off to a fantastic start! Thank you to all the volunteers who came out last weekend to begin the digging and preparation. The space is already looking amazing, and we can see the potential for it will enhance our school grounds. Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time and energy. Your support is helping bring this beautiful vision to life for our students.
The Little Red Reading Van event for grades 1 and 2 was postponed due to the rain. It has been rescheduled for May 22. We’re looking forward to this special literacy celebration and hoping for some beautiful sunshine. Finally, a big thank you to all the families who joined us for the Kindergarten Orientation last night. We’re already excited to welcome our newest learners to the Dalhousie Familia this fall.
We are also saying goodbye to our Kindergarten Ducks as they are going back to the farm. Goodbye to Crystal, Amy, Eddy, Puddles, Thor, and Lexi.
We hope you have a very good long weekend and enjoy some well-deserved rest.
Volunteer Tea
Please join us for a cup of tea, light refreshments, and heartfelt thanks. As volunteers, your contributions have truly made a world of difference, and we are excited to show our gratitude for all the hard work you've put in this year on Friday, May 23 at 10:30 AM for our annual volunteer tea.
Alien In-line Skating residency
Our Alien In-Line Skating residency is well underway, and students are enjoying the experience. The first week has been a great success!
A reminder that Alien In-Line strictly requires ALL students to always wear a certified helmet while on skates. They provide certified helmets for all students, and you are welcome to bring your helmet if you wish. Bike, skateboards, and hockey helmets are acceptable. Football, BMX, ski/ snowboard, or other types of helmets are NOT acceptable.
¡Que tengan un buen fin de semana!
