¡Buenas tardes familias de Dalhousie !

They provide certified helmets for all students, and you are welcome to bring your own helmet if you wish. Bike, skateboard, and hockey helmets are acceptable. Football, BMX, ski/ snowboard, or other types of helmets are NOT acceptable.

Please make sure that the Acknowledgement of Risk sent earlier this week is returned to your child’s classroom teacher before their first lesson.

Calgary Elementary Math Contest Level 1

We are pleased to inform you that 4 of our grade 5 students ranked in the top 25% of the 1,790 participants who took part in the Calgary Elementary Math Contest Level 1, organized by the Department of Mathematics at Mount Royal University. They all have been awarded a Certificate of Distinction. Well done Dalhousie again!

Family Fiesta

A reminder that this Thursday May 23 our Dalhousie Parent Society is hosting the annual Family Fiesta from 5pm - 8 pm. Come join our school community for this fun-filled evening.

CASLT Winners Video

Languages Build Video Contest Winners are now available on the CASLT website. Congratulations to the students of Srta. Liendo.

Kindergarten new drop-off spot

Due to the playground construction, we will be relocating the morning Kindergarten drop off spot away from the construction zone. Starting on Tuesday May 21, teachers will be picking up their students from the new meeting spot on the compound directly at the bottom of
the playground stairs.

Goodbye to the playground

Removal of the school playground will begin on May 20, and the playground area will be fenced off in preparation for the start of this work. Please remember that the area will be off-limits for about a month while construction of the new playgrounds underway. Thank you to the Dalhousie Parent Society for all their hard work in making this new playground a reality.
