The School Planning Survey is now available online and will remain open until March 31, 2024.
The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback from families on school planning, which includes the school development plan, school budget, and school fees. When students, staff and families work closely together, students experience greater success. All the feedback we receive will be considered when making decisions about school planning.

Spirit Day
Today was crazy hair at Dalhousie School. Students were so creative in creating their crazy hair styles. A big thanks goes out to the Grade 3 team for organizing this spirit day. Staff and students had so much fun.
Yearbook Contest
A committee of teacher representatives from each grade group met this week to go over the 60 entries submitted for this year’s yearbook cover contest. There were all creative and depicted the Dalhousie School community wonderfully. The winner this year was submitted by one of our grade 4 students and the committee decided to include a repetitive sample of the other entries in the yearbook.
A reminder that yearbook orders online are still available until March 20th, 2024.
Parking Lot
A reminder that the school parking lot is reserved for CBE authorized personnel. For the safety of our school community, we are asking families to respect this. Please use street parking or the designated Hug and Drop area when dropping or picking up students.
Spanish for parents
Chinook Learning Services is offering Spanish For Parents (level 1) course at Dalhousie school. Learning Spanish can be both easy and fun. This beginning level course will help parents of bilingual Spanish students learn or refresh their Spanish language skills. Parents will become more comfortable interacting with their children in Spanish, build their network of bilingual parents and become familiar with the school environment. Includes a textbook and CD.

Date: Wednesdays, April 10, 17, 24 & May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
